An old new hobby

Emboldened by Adam’s hobbyist confession, I thought I’d make a similar one. After talking at History Hack Day I popped into central London, went to a certain workshop, and bought equipment I never thought I’d use again.

My first five painted Genestealers, from the Space Hulk re-release, have been sat in the living room since. I’m quite pleased with how they came out. And the process was utterly relaxing.

I told myself I’d take up something this year that helped me wind-down, something that bore no relation to my working life, and so now I have an old new hobby. Anyway; five down, thirty-something to go.
